words and communication....

hi all,

As i wrote in my second book, words are a bit of a trap, a floored system, each word conjours different things in different minds (e.g sunset, shaman, rainbow, pain, break).   But saying that, words can often affect energy and how one feels.

With two people co-habiting, or as lovers, cross words can be like a punch or a kick to someone else's energy, and create a spiral of destruction.  If one gets angry allot then they call in dark energies into themselves (invoke), and often, those dark energies will want feeding - by getting anger and aggressive responses out of the other person  - one could go much deeper into this via M.Tsarion, Franz Hartmann, Franz Bardon's writings but this is not what the blog is about.

Isn't it funny how in 10 years or so of school, they never teach us how to communicate to people close to us, but they teach us how to do presentations and how to sell things?

There is a new paradigm growing called Non Violent Communication (NVC) - I read a few books on this and thought to summarise it's ethos/system/pointers.

NVC is all about avoiding and calming conflict communication, mainly in close relationships.

If one wishes to share something, in NVC it is expressed as what one is Observing, Feeling, Needing, and Requesting - and always expressed with NO evaluation, analysis or blame on another.

The listener, even if they don't agree, allows them time and space to express fully and feel understood (they might bite their lip off at first).

Much we do is in service of our needs (or swap this word for boundaries),  so see what need was not met, and see where "alive in the self" the need comes from.

The listener can also seek clarity with sentences like, "So you are feeling and needing x" or "What action is affecting my/your/our well being?"

Empathise that all conflict anger messages are just unmet needs.  Empathy listening protects taking it personally, and if a chat gets bad, breath and go back to the "you feel x,  you need x."    Remember, two ears to one tongue, therefore hear twice as much as you speak.

Connect to what is alive in a person NOW at THIS moment.  Respectful understanding of what another is experiencing.   What is alive NOW from the past experience / as a result of what happened in the past.

Positive actions:  focus on what TO do, not, what NOT to do.

I am responsible for my intentions and actions but not the feelings of others.

Replace "have to" with "choose to" ALL THE TIME.

Replace "should" with "might" - ALL THE TIME.

Anger shows we are in the head to analyse and judge someone.  A warning to see what the "i" is needing.

External is stimuli not the cause - it's all about how one takes the external stimuli.   When we equate stimuli with cause we trick ourselves, and get on the warpath.

Each person is responsible for their own feelings. PERIOD.

I am angry because THEY x - this is violent communication,  NVC would swap this for; I am angry because I'm NEEDING x.

What others do is never the cause of how we feel.
Anger comes from finding fault.

I think NVC is pretty smart, it is a road towards harmony, and harmony is nice.

It seems quite Taoist to me, whose approach would be from a place of calm, or to walk away from any conflict or anger until the other is calm.

NVC may seem a bit fluffy, but nagging is apparently more rife than adultry, and nagging is so very very old paradigm.

The NVC books state to practise and practise, as one cannot change from this overnight...

But all humans have days where.....

......it's ok, just don't beat yourselves up, or allow someone to continually torment you.

So why is something like NVC important or helpful?  Well, we are coded on our DNA to be intimate and therefore close to other humans......maybe the famous sufi master was right?

"...sex plays a tremendous role in maintaining the mechanicalness of life. Everything that people do is connected with 'sex': politics, religion, art, the theater, music, is all 'sex.' Do you think people go to the theater or to church to pray or to see some new play? That is only for the sake of appearances. The principle thing, in theater as well as in church, is that there will be a lot of women or a lot of men. This is the center of gravity of all gatherings. What do you think brings people to cafés, to restaurants, to various fêtes? One thing only. SEX: it is the principle motive force of all mechanicalness. All sleep, all hypnosis, depends upon it."

I leave you with two amazing pieces of art...

The Rise of Fake Buddhism.

Hi all,

Straight off the bat, I'm not a Buddhist, but i've studied some of the nice philosophies - in books, and with some Monks in the Himalayas some years ago.

Buddhism holds much beauty in the core doctrines, so much so that centuries ago, people went to allot of trouble to celebrate, study, and contemplate the doctrine.

However, in 2013, Buddhism is now completely commercialised across the world, people buy plastic statues, buddha lip balm, and lots of other crap that is mostly made in Chinese factories.  In Europe much Buddhist tat is sold in Chinese shops, and even garden centres and larger stores have now got in on the action.

"But it gets people interested in Buddhism" I hear some readers say.   But the point is that this shit being made, distributed, and sold, just is not Buddhist, and that's the fact here.  Even some nice ambient music is grouped into a Buddha-Bar series - since when is a bar Buddhist?

What this all creates is the following;  I know a friend who was recently at a house full of Buddhist stuff and drapes, and the home owner was the most unbuddhist person one would ever meet - but used the stuff to pretend that they had a grounding "in something" - a cover, a facade.  Yes, they could probably recite the simple four noble truths, but the person was cold and uncompassionate in nature.

There are also many false Buddhist quotes around, and many people cover themselves in a jacket of these quotes and recite them often - I am not convinced this is good to layer-in oneself' with quotes, as quotes need to come from the inside-out, and not pushed onto oneself, e.g  keeping certain traits frozen in a straight jacket.   Yes, we can learn/see a quote and like it, but to live by it and own it, it needs to be felt and to shake the core of the self - then it moves outward from the inside.

Just goto Thailand and you will soon see someone pretending they are Buddhist one minute, then trying to swindle you out of all your money the next.

Ok, Shields up.

Let's now have a little peek into the Dalai Lama who now so many westerners seem to idolise.    For one, he hangs out with dodgy people, gets driven about in Mercedes, and  is becoming the master at playing the "jet-set Gandhi celebrity" routine and smiling like a clown - while his countrymen are tortured.   See these links for some more insight into the Dalai Lama and his history (link1link2link3link4link5link6link7).

I once met the Dalai Lama's translator for an hour, and he seemed more like a corporate politician type' in energy, than any spiritual type of guy.

To put anyone on a pedestal, and give your soul and life to someone or something you don't really know is naive, ignorant, and very "old paradigm" - so think or research before posting lots of Dalai Lama stuff on facebook whilst paying tax, insurance, and sending your kids to indoctrination schools - it just makes one look a little silly.
"Oh but when I met the Dalai Lama I felt amazing, he made me feel....lalalala" - to this crowd, I give you this.
Buddhism does not make one spiritual, at the introductory level it is allot of mental concepts that need thinking about, allot of 'mind' really for a while before any emptyness can enter.

Many monks and lamas still say all the ills and pains in people is just their karma...................

...........well, maybe two millenia ago that view stood up well, but right now the world is getting trashed and people are being oppressed and controlled due to corrupt psychopath controllers - funded by normal people via their tax and corporate consumption  - easily removed causes, and little to do with karma.

I have never heard a monk or lama say anything about the world paying interest on electronic money created out of thin air by central bank, or any comments about GM foods.  I think this is because they just don't know because they only probably look at Buddhist books and websites - one needs to be more rounded I feel, more open to information if one is dedicating their lives to a path of total compassion.

Ok, shields down.

If you can get past the "religiousness-ness" of the decor, clothes, props, and "master worship" in these clips, there are some really decent deep teachings, but they need reflection and meditation - one cannot just buy shit, recite a false quote, hang some drapes in the home, or post Dalai CIA Lama comments on facebook - which are all really getting to epidemic levels, especially in the new age.

note: this one is all a buildup to part4, when the fruits come - it may be hard to grasp first time as one may be focused on the monks four year old demenour.

Just like everything else on this planet half decent- it gets trashed by those in the west jumping on things and buying the paraphernalia.

The key is this, it's better to know the teachings and have no stuff, no sign that you know, and never tell anyone you know, than to have all the t-shirts, crap, posters and drapes.  To buy lots of Buddhist stuff pushes you further from the Buddha.

A quote below by the Hermetic Master, Franz Hartmann.   And one that could be placed upon many Buddhist Monks in 2013.

"Unspiritual men, therefore, who retire from the world
because they are afraid of the world, cannot be considered
to be heroes who have renounced the world; they deserve rather to be
regarded as cowards who have deserted their ranks at the
beginning of the battle with life. Such people sometimes
retire into convents/monasteries for the purpose of having a comfortable
life, and in addition to that a ticket to heaven. They imagine
they do a service to God by leading a harmless and useless
life; for which imaginary service they expect to obtain a
reward at the end of life. But the reward which they will
receive will also exist merely in their imagination. As the
sensualist wastes his time in the prosecution of useless
pleasures, so the bigot wastes his time in useless
ceremonies and prayers. The actions of the former are
instigated by a desire for sensual pleasure in this life, those
of the latter by the hope for pleasure in another life; both
are acting for the purpose of gratifying their own selfish
desires. I am unable to see any essential difference
between the motives and morals of the two."

One thing I found funny this week is that people in England who drink cow's breast milk and eat pigs, cows, and deer, went mental because there were traces of horse meat in tesco's burgers.....such conditioning....sigh.....heheh, you have to laugh or you might cry.

Thought provoking and fun movies on the net I saw recently are American Nomads, Samsara, and Silver Lining.

I leave you with this short clip....

...and another clip from a great sufi book (you, see, if I labelled myself a Buddhist, I would not have come across this amazing Sufi work).

matrix observations...and more

hi all,

I've had a break from the site due to things going on in the external, but have a few goodies lined up for the near future.

I want to write about more meaningful things but a recent trip to ghoul-ridden England demands a note or two.

I arrived in England recently and was welcomed by a...........drumroll...............bank machine (??).

Stop right there.  Stop.   I stood there in disbelief for minutes in awe.  I tapped a stranger next to me (he got scared) - "hey Mr, do you think it a little strange that a bank machine is welcoming us to a train station?" - he looked away, scared of any eye contact, and shuffled away with his costa coffee mug that was the size of a bucket.

I then saw the "free cash withdrawals" - that's generous I thought, maybe a sorry for the banks being thieves over the years, but I noticed the £20 I happily withdrew actually came off my account on my statement - so I'm confused - I think it's a trick - not sure how they can get away with that.

The next day I sought nature, and found this in the sky.

I thought to tap the nearest stranger and ask opinion, but thought not to after the welcoming bank machine incident.

As time went on in England I noticed everyone is pretty much locked into the iphone, ipod, ipad, andriod, app world - even 8 year olds.

It even goes as far as having apps for fitness - how can one having their head in a screen help with fitness?

My latest book shows where all this technology is heading.

I noticed food ingestion consciousness was strange, and also crazy food pricing, and excessive wastage.   I also came across this outside a pret-a-manger.

Make sure to read the small print.

Another time, I heard an advert on the radio whilst driving, about meditation and inner peace....."nice," I thought........but the inner peace was if one paid their tax return before the end of january....or a fine will come.    So they even use mediation as leverage to pay the government money, and to be calm with the threat of a fine, and to find inner peace escaping the fine.   I wanted to record the ad somehow, but then found it in a paper on my escape plane.

England is near dead, it's ill, ghouled up, toxic.........the nature is nice - but its always muddy anyway - so just stay clear or get out.

England reminds me of this short video allot.

I'm off home soon.....and the door's open to many in England who need a break.

21/12, march 2013, 2018, and whatever other dates are being banded about by channelers, scientists, alcoholics, ego website owners etc for earth changes....none of it really matters NOW - nobody really knows anyway.  How, why, and when is probably only known by energies at a more evolved level of consciousness - that we can't even imagine (unless one has drank 5 gallons of ayahuasca - but one wouldn't come back to tell the story) - once all this sits well, one can relax.

One may download/collect images but research indicates that alternate futures actually do exist, and that the past exists simultaneously with the present.   I still get dreams with the qabalistic code of MEM (water) RESH (sun) and LAMED (justice) - but it is impossible to put a date on anything.

Be present, that's what matters.......but also soak up the interesting info :-)
